Helping Black Women Exit Toxic Jobs For An Abundant & Fulfilling Life/Licensed Clinical Psychologist
When do we get to stop being the backbone and start being valued?
Black Women in nursing are expected to carry impossible workloads, endure racism, and sacrifice our well-being for the sake of patients, staff, and institutions that too often refuse to pour back into us. But at what cost?
This week, I’m sitting down with Danelle Dautrieve-Sanford (Dautrieve and Associates, LLC)—a former nursing consultant for a school district—who made the life-changing decision to finally put herself first. She shares her journey from burnout and sleepless nights to choosing her health, sanity, and future over a toxic system.
Here’s what we’re unpacking in this powerful conversation:
If you’re exhausted, questioning your worth, or feeling like you’re drowning in a job that doesn’t see you—this conversation is for you.
?? Join the conversation. Watch the replay. And most importantly—choose yourself.
Too many of us stay in draining workplaces because we don’t feel like we have a choice. But what if you did?
Choosing yourself isn’t just about walking away from a toxic job—it’s about making sure you have the financial freedom to do so without fear.
The Financial Masterclass for Black Women was created to help you break free from the cycle of burnout and build a financial foundation that supports your well-being. Led by two Black Women experts—including a Financial Psychologist who understands the toll of toxic jobs firsthand—this masterclass will show you how to overcome money fears, create a real exit strategy, and secure your future on your own terms. Your peace is priceless. It’s time to invest in YOU. Join the masterclass today.
As always, thank you for your support and please feel free to share this newsletter with other Black Women.

1 周This deserves to get the traction warranted!! I'd also love to mention that we get so caught up in that toxic cycle that we offend because we do not defer to our supervisors. I'm a teacher moving into leadership and I know it annoys my leadership team that I've been a leader and do things the way I would want them done.

1 周Thank you for shining the light on this issue. As a former hospital physician, I saw the disparities at work among the nursing staff.
