When A Bard Gets Creative with Facts

A poem on Google Bard's disasterous introduction this week.

There is a Bard, so great with words

Whose talent flows, high as the birds

Give a start, he'll take flight

Crafting beauty with some might

His words were divine

Yet he loved to opine

Mixing the sane and insane

Creating a unique refrain

He once spoke of James Webb and space

Mistakenly put him in first place

As the first to see

Exoplanets, but he

Was wrong, and lost billions with disgrace.

A bard's wit is often quite useful

His words can be grand and beautiful

But reader beware

For sometimes he'll err

And his tales may be less than truthful

So when listening to his grand tales

Take heed of the facts that he hails

He may stretch the truth

Or misspeak in his youth

But his stories will still leave great trails

Bards have minds sharp and bright

Though mistakes they make, try as they might

In the past, publishers held

The job to make sure it's spelled

Which parts of the work were wrong or right

But today,?

designers ought to play?

The part

With interfaces, work of art

Guiding readers along

Sifting right from wrong

With user experience at heart
