We put tools back into Veterans' hands who are willing to put on their gloves and work on themselves, their families, and communities. Federal EIN # 84-4160627. In 2021 over 95% of funds directly supported veterans.

December is responsible for nearly one third (31%) of all giving annually (for nonprofits) with 12% happening on the last three days of December. It’s a time of generosity and a time to truly make a difference. At Big Fish Foundation the number of Veterans and their families that we can serve is directly proportional to the amount of funds we are able to raise. Nine years ago, I had the honor of sitting down with five incredible individuals - some veterans, others still on active duty - to capture what service truly means. This Veterans Day project remains one of my most cherished pieces, a testament to the power of shared stories and the spirit of those who serve. As we reflect on Veterans Day, I'm sharing this piece again because its message is timeless. Big Fish recently partnered with Patrol Base Abbate to create an event at their property in Montana. What can happen from one weekend at a retreat/event? New tools gained, time to process and reflect in nature, physical activity that gets you moving in different ways, opening up your perspective to others' stories...
