When 75,000, per day, see your billboard

While some think it appropriate to be doing 100% digital advertising, never underestimate the power of print. Beware of the advertising company who makes jokes about magazines, greeting cards, postcards, billboards, hand-written letters, etc.

We've now seen in the Wall Street Journal, that PRINT and PAPYRUS, are coming back strong. Publishers are scrambling to find old printing machinery, reopen warehouses and are listening to the complaints about, "screen fatigue," and all of the ADS in your way while just trying to read a story and scroll down. I've noticed, if you touch the wrong thing while scrolling, it takes you to a website or ad, and then that mistakenly ratchets up your, "supposed interests in life." This leads to incorrect ads next being shown to you and you can tell, "Oh God, now the algorithm thinks I am interested in new rims for my car... stupid algorithm.

If you are looking to drive traffic to your website, never underestimate the power of handing out 100,000 business cards - and all other forms of PRINT. Don't get me wrong, I'm a marketing JEDI Knight when it comes to digital ads, but PRINT has a powerful place on earth - and books are coming back now, extremely strong.
