Wheeldons Waste Staying Ahead with a Lindner Atlas.

Director James Wheeldon likes operations to stay ahead of the game  and once again has accomplished this with the next big thing in primary shredding, the Lindner Atlas.

In 2017 Wheeldons Brothers   who run approximately 125k tons per year, of industrial, commercial and domestic waste through their sites across Greater Manchester, installed the Lindner one step shredder Polaris onto their facility in Ramsbottom Lancashire.

Late last year James took the decision to purchase the Atlas 5500, becoming the first in the UK to do so.

When asked why he decided on the Atlas ,James said 

‘With our upgraded electric supply on site we are now able to save on the costs of diesel with the added pluses of very quiet machine with a lot less maintenance needed’.

James added ‘the back-up service that is available from Mach Tech Services is extremely good and had been key in the decision to purchase’.
