Hey Team! ??
As we get ready to wrap up this year, let’s take a little time to pause, check in, and set ourselves up for an awesome 2025.
This week, I want to share a fun tool for some self-reflection: The Wheel of Life. Think of it as a quick, simple way to check out your “life balance” and see where things are smooth... and where you might be hitting some bumps!
The Life Wheel
Imagine your life as a big, delicious pie ?? (or a car wheel, whatever revs your engine ??).
I'm personally sticking with pizza for now!
We’re going to slice it up into eight areas.
These categories cover most of the key parts of life:
Step 1: Rate Your Life (And Don’t Hold Back!)
Grab a pen and rate each area from 1 to 10. This is about how satisfied you feel right now – not about being “perfect.” Think of it as a snapshot, just capturing where you’re at today.
Now, draw a circle (or print one out) and shade in each slice to match your ratings. Boom, you’ve got your very own Wheel of Life!
DM me and I can send you the one above in editable format!
Step 2: Look at Your Wheel. How’s Your Ride?
If your wheel were an actual car tire, would you be gliding down the road like a Rolls Royce? Or are you bumping along with a few flat spots? ????
Remember, the goal isn’t all 10s – it’s about spotting where you can make small changes to get things rolling more smoothly. It’s about progress, not perfection!
“Balance is not something you find; it’s something you create.” – Jana Kingsford
Step 3: Time for Some Tune-Ups
Pick one or two areas that could use a little boost.
Think of this as your “tune-up” plan for the year ahead.
No need to go all out – small, manageable goals will do the trick!
Examples:
(Book recommendation: Atomic Habits by James Clear – This book’s got tons of tips for creating small, sustainable changes in any area of life!)
Step 4: Put It in Writing – and Let’s Crush It!
Writing down goals makes them way more real, so go ahead and list a few action steps.
Just ask my friend Ryan Cass how the %s go up drastically when you write your goals down!
What’s one thing you can start before 2024 wraps up?
Just one small win is all it takes to set a solid foundation for next year.
And hey, if you need some support, I’m here for you!
Send me a DM about your goals – I’d love to know what you’re working on and cheer you along the way.
We’re in this together, and I’ll share my tips (including the times I didn’t get it right ??).
“A goal without a plan is just a wish.” – Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
Let’s Make 2025 Legendary! ??
Taking stock of where we are and setting simple goals gives us all a clear path forward.
Growth is a journey, so let’s take it one slice (pizza of course) and one step at a time.
Let’s go win together!
