The chairman of the association said that the ban on wheat movement was unconstitutional and called for the removal of all check posts set up by the Punjab government to stop the transportation of wheat to other provinces. Joint operations in different areas of Balochistan by Pakistan Customs, Frontier Corps and police were also successful in preventing the smuggling of sugar and urea fertilizer to Afghanistan, with the value of the seized sugar and urea estimated at Rs 390.22 million.
