Estimates suggest WhatsApp has over 3 billion monthly active users

Meta, the company behind Facebook and Instagram, is criticized for a recent WhatsApp change. They lowered the minimum age requirement to use the messaging app from 16 to 13 in the UK and EU. This decision has been called "tone deaf" by child safety groups.
