What's your word?
If you are anything like me and many of my clients, the first couple weeks of the year were needed to recover from the previous year and the flurry of the holidays. There’s much pressure to hit the ground running, and not only that but to also have all your resolutions and goals in place.
But winter is really a time of rest, recovery, and slowing down. So don’t feel bad or beat yourself up if you’ve found you are more tired than usual, or not quite ready to set those new year goals.?
Fortunately, I’ve been seeing a growing trend towards setting a word for the year vs. a new year resolution, and I’m here for it.
Think about your dreams and goals, and really imagine them. Once you have them in your mind, think about how would achieving this goal make you feel?
Or what quality would it bring to your life?
This could be your word (or words) for the year.?
My words for the year are:
This allows me to prioritize these things and continue to check in with myself.
Is this something that will bring me more ease or stress?
Does this allow me to express my creativity? Etc…?
I’m also really excited to relaunch my course this year. I can’t believe it’s been almost 2 years since I launched it! Time has flown.
