What’s your word cloud?
Last week someone suggested a great way to both:
- capture useful feedback, and at the same time
- give yourself an ego-boost!
It’s this. Ask some of your recent clients to describe what you are like to work with. They only need to give you a few words - not a long testimonial.
I suggest you encourage them to give you the words that spring to mind, rather than spending time pondering it or craving a beautiful response.
Capture all their words in a document, and read through it.
I guarantee it will make you feel good!
If you want a visual representation of the feedback, try creating a Word cloud. Not sure what that is? You can see mine in the image above.
It comprises the words that my clients used to describe me. The more times a word comes up in the feedback, the larger it will show up in the word cloud.
I used Wordle to create mine, but it does involve downloading an application. Other tools are available!
Just search for word cloud and you’ll see. Create your word cloud, save it as an image, then print it out and put it up in front of your desk.
Then whenever you need a morale boost - it’s right there in front of you!
