Time matters.
There are 1,440 minutes in a day and each one is precious. Whether you are hiking in a beautiful mountain range enjoying the view or moving your company forward from your desk, time lost is time you can never get back.
That’s why I’m constantly thinking about how to best use my time, and it’s not a perfect practice. It takes daily discipline to sift through what is important versus what is urgent, meaning some things appear urgent but may not be important…some emails fall in this category. What is urgent and important are your three M.I.T.s for the day—most important things.?
For me and the team at?ICONIC LIFE, that is client communication, providing top-shelf service and sharing what we’re up to. But how do you reach people effectively and how do you reach them in a way they literally get the message.
What we’ve found is that text messaging is key in 2023.?Text messages get read 98 percent of the time. And 65 percent of clients say that texting makes working with a local company easier.?

There are a few important things to know…you need consent from your clients to text them; you need to keep in mind the time of day when you text: not too early, not too late; and make sure you respond right away to clients who text you back.
