What's Your Risk Tolerance?

What's Your Risk Tolerance?

July eUpdate 2019

As Investment Advisors, we regularly speak to our clients about their "risk tolerance." Most of our clients are prepared to take some risk for more reward. This is typically true throughout their lifetimes.

There are events or milestones that could alter one's view of risk in their investment portfolios. Some good reasons to reflect on one's risk tolerance are changes in income, marriage or a health concern. Bad reasons to adjust one's risk tolerance are market fluctuations and emotional responses.

We encourage you to consider this timely topic profiled in "Risk Tolerance Shouldn't Change With The Market" featured on page 4 in our Q3 2019 Perspective newsletter.
