Roman Reigns has seldom had a clean victory throughout his 1262 days reign as the undisputed WWE Universal Champion. His matches usually involve opponents putting in their career-best performances. But almost all of them have been duped by the outside interferences by one of Reigns′ henchmen. Be it the erstwhile tag team ′The Usos′, Paul Heyman, and lately Solo Sikoa. The contenders to this top WWE prize have always come up short mainly due to the absence of somebody in their corner.

The 2023 and 2024 Men′s Royal Rumble winner Cody Rhodes would be wise to have a backup this time around. Who could forget the heelish ′dark arts' that Sikoa used to prevent a victory for Rhodes in the last Mania? The February 12th edition of Monday Night Raw has seemingly provided ′The American Nightmare′ perhaps the biggest equalizer against Reigns yet. The WWE Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins proposed an alliance to finally thwart The Bloodline. And with the looming threat of Dwayne ′The Rock′ Johnson, Rhodes could surely use any unexpected help.

Rollins cuts a passionate promo

In a passionate promo on the Red brand, ′The Visionary′ asked, ¨What′s your plan, Cody? Because ..... last year you got sc****d out of the title in the main event of WrestleMania¨. On the possibility of ′The Great One' becoming a prospect in the main attraction this time around, Rollins stated ¨..You are dealing with the biggest star, the most influential man in the entire entertainment industry. You gotta deal with...The Rock.¨

′The Architect′ was not finished yet as he had a proposal for Rhodes. ¨You do not have to fight this battle alone¨. This has got to be a massive statement of intent from Rollins considering the events that transpired this past Thursday.

WrestleMania XL kickoff press event was pure cinema

The WrestleMania XL kickoff press event in Las Vegas was nothing short of pure cinema. The final portion of the event saw many jaw-dropping sequences. Additionally, the Anoa′i family bond seemed to trump all rivalries as both Reigns and Johnson appeared to be on the same page. The highlight of the night has to be the Black Adam star taking offense at Rhodes′ comments about the Anoa′i family.

And taking matters into his own hands by slapping the taste out of Rhodes′ mouth. While the mammoth rematch between the former AEW executive and Reigns has been confirmed. There is no information as to Johnson′s participation in the ′Showcase of Immortals′ this April.

Will all the matters be solved in the four-squared circle?

There is a strong possibility that all four power players get into a gigantic tag team match. Rhodes and Rollins are speculated to face the brotherly duo of ′The Tribal Chief′ and Johnson on the first night. And the recently released teaser for WrestleMania XL has strongly suggested about it too. All the above-mentioned parties can be seen facing off against each other in a 36-second video.

For this monumental tag bout to occur many aspects need to be looked upon. First is that both the champions Rollins and Reigns would have to compete on consecutive nights. The former′s fitness would come under heavy scrutiny, as he faces a race against time to recover from the MCL injury in time for Mania.

The WWE has done a great job by keeping everyone on their toes with their decision-making. Although their initial plan of pitting ′The Rock′ against Roman Reigns might have been met with a backlash. But the promotion′s quick fix has raised the stakes to an all-time high. Only a fool will try and predict what′s next in this gripping storyline. Well, as long as things are this much interesting the fans would not be complaining. Bring on WrestleMania XL!
