If you cannot see yourself reflected in the faces that govern our society,
Stand for office!
If you cannot see yourself reflected in the faces that direct your organization,
Seek promotion!
If you cannot make yourself heard or your presence felt,
Find your voice!
. . .
So many of us settle for second best because we do not believe in ourselves. And if we wait for someone to lift us onto their shoulders, we risk being left behind.
What’s the answer?
Invest in yourself! Make yourself worthy of others’ trust and support.
Start today; start small. ?Read; study; speak to people; look for opportunities to go beyond what you are doing now; reach out to people whom you admire and seek to learn from them.
Make a plan; make a connection; move forward.
?. . .
Still don’t believe yourself worthy?
That’s a shame … because I already believe in you; I always have!
