What's Your Personal Growth Journey?
Years ago, I noted this quote from Marianne Williamson when I heard her say it because at the time, it struck a cord deep inside me when my mind was struggling with the reality of the life I was experiencing. And it continues to resonate as a continual compass today.
What’s your experience with your personal growth journey? As a Mind Architect? and Neuro-Performance Coach, I hear the questions and see the thirst in an increasing number of us to find the answers in our unique personal journey because we know deep down inside us there’s something deeper at play than simply “doing more”. And, what’s inspiring is it seems that more and more of us are finding the courage to open the door to this concept that Marianne Williamson shares in this quote….
“I think that personal growth is a kind of de-tox process; everything which is dark within us. And remember, darkness within us is not where we are bad. It’s where we are wounded. It is where, at some point in our lives, we didn't know how to get our needs met from a noble place. So, we struck a deal. And from that point forward, we developed a habit pattern behaviorally or mentally, where we compromised with the highest within us. And then, we did it in such a way that we were at that point, not even conscious we were doing it. Those are our wounds. The spirit of God actually activates those places, actually triggers those places in order then that they are so obvious to us that we can then make a conscious choice to let them go. Otherwise, how would we?”
Today I appreciate deeply, the number of people who have courageously “shared their wounds” with me and have trusted our process to heal those wounds. I appreciate all our present clients who are doing that with their coaches at Your Performance People to actualize the businesses they envision, to have the lives they can love, and to leave the legacies they are proud to build. We all have that courage deep inside of us and it’s an exciting choice away! #coaching #yppcoacheswiththebraininmind#mindarchitect #neuroperformancecoach
