What's your money language?

What's your money language?

Do you speak a second language? The Harvard Business Review article below outlines some new scientific thinking into the positive changes in your brain when you learn a new language.

What about your money language? Money language is a concept that reflects our attitudes, beliefs, and emotions surrounding money. Understanding how you relate to money can also create positive change.

Consider these questions:

What does money mean to you? Security, freedom, opportunity, or something else entirely?

How comfortable are you with taking financial risks? Are you more conservative, willing to take moderate risks, or do you embrace a higher level of risk to pursue greater returns?

What are your long-term financial goals and aspirations? Do you aim for early retirement, buying a dream home, funding your children's education, or leaving a legacy for future generations?

What role does spending play in your life? Are you more inclined to save, invest, or enjoy your wealth on experiences and possessions?

Your answers can change over time, and the more you share your money language, the better equipped we become to support you as you pursue your financial goals. What’s different so far in 2023? What’s the same??Let's continue the conversation.
