What's your mindset stack?

We all have a software stack, and if you're anything like me...quite a large one! What is interesting to me, is to learn about what people use as their stack of tools when it comes to developing and reconstructing their mindset.
Anyone who has grown in their success, will all agree that in order to achieve their goals, they had to grow internally to reach them.
Why is that?
Well, let's imagine you want to earn £10,000,000 per annum, either as a company, or as personal income. Firstly there needs to be know-how, but even then there is know-how, there needs to be an underlying belief that it is possible. What happens if there is no underlying belief that it is possible? Unconsciously you will not do the needed work to achieve the goal, as the subconscious mind will say "well there is no point doing it, as it probably won't work" which also leads to a lack of confidence and motivation.
As a salesman and Sales Manager, I have seen just how evident that is, and how normal it is for a human to have this automatic construction in the mind. When a salesperson joins an organization and sees another succeeding, and can learn to follow exactly the same structure as what they are doing, the belief is implanted "if I do this, this will work" this then means they do the work and follow the same system, and voila, get the results.
If a salesperson joins and doesn't see people succeed, it's enormously difficult, if not impossible, to get that person to sell, as the belief quickly gets planted, "if they can't, I can't" or "what they say is possible, isn't true" and therefore don't follow the system regardless of its validity. This can be bad luck, just the day they start, no one gets a sale, or they don't see their team leader get one, and then the belief is set.
The difficulty is often as an entrepreneur, you will need to gift this to yourself, even when you don't actually know you can, you have to tell yourself, yes, I can.. unless you are lucky enough to have a mentor to show you the way.
You need to believe, before you actually know, this is also the issue for the pioneers, and often one of the largest roadblocks to success.
But it doesn't need to be all that difficult, if you have the right tools in your toolbox, to work through the rigid mind-made constructions and belief systems.
I have been lucky enough that I have been able to learn a bunch of tools and techniques to reconstruct the thought patterns that were created automatically through my experiences, and install new ones, to continue progressing through my journey, with as little force or struggle as necessary.. which tends to be the counteract by-product when these are not known.
Here are a few techniques that I use on a day-to-day basis, to help undo the subconscious and create a new mindset for myself, so I can take my career/business to the next level.
Affirmations
Often there is a misunderstanding about affirmations in that you should repeat just positive affirmations. This is only half the truth. You will need to repeat affirmations to release the old and also bring in the new. Here is an example. "I release the belief that I can not achieve my goals". Repeat this until you feel ready to then repeat " I am able, I can achieve my goals, I am powerful".
You need to make room for the new mindset before it will really embed in - or you will just have both running simultaneously, which causes the "chasing your tail" paradigm.
Tapping
If you want to take this to another level, you can then use the same technique whilst tapping lightly in sequence on several pressure points on the body.
Just keep repeating the affirmations you want, and in rhythm tap a few times starting from the top, working down. This impacts the nervous system and engrains the new thought pattern into the body on a physiological level.
Energy work
For those who have not worked on energy before here is an example of how it works. Heavy metal will induce one emotion and classical another, this is purely because of the different frequencies that they run on.

You can fill yourself with different frequencies through very simple techniques that will enable you to induce new emotional and psychological states and patterns. There are some famous on the market like Reiki, in fact, there are 100's when you really look. Pick one that you want to explore and perhaps do a short course, you might be amazed at the impact it can have.
Music
As mentioned above different frequencies will induce different states, and will relate to different emotional frequencies. For example, the frequency 364 Hz is related directly to the part of the nervous system that induces confidence and self-esteem, so listening to this can help build your confidence and self-esteem.
Two common known ways to use this is through listing to Solfeggio music or Binaural beats. Type into youtube solfeggio or binaural beats along with an emotion positive or negative that you want to clear or induce and it will show you music to listen to. It's best done with headphones and can have really amazing instant results.
Meditation
This is a bit of an open statement as mediation has many many faces, it's almost like saying to someone "have a meal" - the options for that meal are endless! So where to begin if you have never tried before? Well, Headspace is a well-known App, that can be a good starting ground for learning, or at a local school or mindfulness center.
What you are able to experience in meditation is a stillness that will give light to the blockages holding you back and what is needed to take you forward. It takes some practice but it's now so ingrained into my daily practice, I genuinely couldn't live without it.
NLP
This stands for Neuro-Linguistic Programming. It is as it says on the tin (what on earth is that?! I hear you say!) It is series of different techniques, that can find the root cause of emotional memory that causes a belief, or reactivity pattern, to be engrained into the psyche. This then becomes a pattern which, if gone unsolved, will repeat itself again and again and again. Perhaps you find you always get to a certain point and then that's it, or perhaps you always get anxious in a meeting, or when you want to start something new, something unknown in you holds you back.
NLP looks for the route cause and through specific techniques changes the original emotional memory or belief, to then create a new pattern in you, or provide you a new belief to move forward.
Co - counseling
This is a counseling method that again uses a series of specific techniques to go to the route cause memories that create patterns and beliefs. The beauty of this, is it is a way to release old memories and emotions, without feeling any of the pain, or stimulating the emotion.
The majority of humans will have forms of co-dependency, whereby they fall into a drama triangle of rescuer, victim, or perpetrator. This will then be taken to the workplace and the symptoms are vast: over-controlling, dogmatic, authoritarian, bullying, not setting boundaries, forcing, stress, overworking, taking on too much, underachieving, lack of motivation, and so on, I could write all day.
The good news is that all of these are just conditioned responses that can be changed, and in fact, can give way to new ways of being that are easy, simple, and get work done without the pain. Yes, that's right, work does not need to be painful! Crazy I know!
Tension or Trauma Release Exercise is a series of physical exercises that releases trauma from the physical body. All memories are stored in the body, and no they are not stored all in the brain! When you feel stressed, you might get tight shoulders right, in fact, maybe you have them now?! That repeated then can lead to back issues, long-term stiffness or pain.. or the common phrase..."I just need a massage"...or "I just need a drink!". But the original issue was the stress.
TRE is easy, requires no mental work what so ever and can be done easily in a class or at home. Research it yourself and see if it is something you think could help you to release the baggage so you can move forward.
To sum up
These are just a few of the techniques I have learned over the past few years, which have taught me a new way of working, progressing, and that life and work do not need to be overly stressful, painful, or difficult!
