“The comfort zone is a behavioral state within which a person operates in an anxiety-neutral condition, using a limited set of behaviors to deliver a steady level of performance, usually without a sense of risk.” - Judith Bardwick
Thus, the comfort zone is actually not a bad place to be in as long you work to expand it - not just jump out of it from time to time.
When you keep expanding the comfort zone (even with small steps), it becomes easier to get into the learn and growth zones and thus you will get more opportunities for your work, career and life in general.
Enjoy your comfort zone! Enjoy your trips into the learn and growth zones!
