What’s on at your Chamber?
Autumn is officially here, and there’s plenty of fun waiting for us this quarter!
September saw lots of sunshine and rain, our regular training and events such as our Professionals Partnership, plus some bonus events like our Network of Women which is always a hit.
Now, the nights are drawing in and it’s time to prepare ourselves for the last quarter of 2023. Here’s what October and beyond looks like at Shropshire Chamber…
The big one… Connectin Business Expo!
Open to members and non-members of Shropshire Chamber, our Connectin Business Expo is back on October 11th at Shrewsbury Town Football Club!
We’re fully booked for exhibitors which means it’s going to be a fantastic event packed with brilliant Shropshire businesses - and a speed networking session thrown in there too. It’s totally free to attend, we just need you to book your visit so we have an idea of numbers.
Networking, networking, and more networking!
You know how much we love seeing our members in the same room, and this month our usual Breakfast Network Clubs are on the following dates:
Why don’t you invite a fellow Chamber member who doesn't usually attend our breakfast meetings or a colleague, client or supplier who needs to kickstart their networking?
Our next Combined Network Club is on November 22nd, as our Connectin Business Expo is a fantastic chance to network with people from all three network clubs in October.?
Also in November is our next Bridgnorth Networking Breakfast, which was a sell-out last time so mark your calendar for November 9th and get your tickets quick!
If you’re based on or near Stafford Park and would like to get to know the businesses around you, our Meet the Neighbours networking on October 19th is your chance to!?
The 1835 Group will also be meeting on October 12th, so join us to hear from Ian Groves from Start Tech and network with other young professionals.
If networking over delicious food is your thing, our Shropshire Chamber Business Lunch is on October 4th. Enjoy a delightful two-course meal and get to know other members from our Chamber!
The ever-popular Network of Women will be returning on November 22nd at the Park House Hotel. Last month’s Network of Women was a hit, and next time we’ll be joined by Pippa Tait (née Johnson) L.ISP, BSc. of Sales Geek as our guest speaker. These events always sell out, so please book your spot in advance to avoid disappointment.
New to networking or our Chamber? On November 9th we have just the thing for you! Our Member Networking - Getting Started is an introduction to Shropshire Chamber with insights into how you can maximise your membership with us. Here, you will also be able to meet other members and enjoy some networking.
If you’d like to learn how to get the most out of networking before going to your first event, we are hosting a training session on October 19th to help you see results from your attendance.
