What’s Your CHAG?

What’s Your CHAG?

Go bigger.

How big?

Crazy?big.

Think I’m joking?

I’m not.?

Cliches are cliches for a reason:

“Shoot for the moon and you’ll end up in the stars.”

Big isn’t big enough any more.?

Dare I say that “big” is too attainable.?

So what is bigger than big?

Crazy.?

It’s time to sunset the term BHAG.?

Instead, set your sites on a CHAG.

If you didn’t know what BHAG meant, it stands for:

Big Hairy Audacious Goal.?

We hear this in business rooms around twice a year when teams actually put their business on pause.?

It’s also good practice for each of us to treat ourselves like a business;

pausing a few times a year to self-actualize our own version of a hairy audacious goal.?

But my challenge to you?

Be like that OG Yoddling?Cliffhangers?Price Is Right?Game:

Don’t just shoot for big.

Don’t shoot for bigger.?

Do shoot for Crazy.?

Set your sites on a CHAG:

Crazy Hairy Audacious Goal.

This is advice I am also taking in my life.

This week my team and I are at our own offsite in Seattle.?

My CHAG:

Inspire 1% of the population — 3.4 Million people —to lead courageously.

It’s crazy to think that we can rally the crazies!?

But over a lifetime, I know we can.

Heck, if you are still reading this you’re one of “us”.?

Welcome to the 1%.?

We should be shooting not just for the big — but for the crazy.?

Because a crazy idea is a crazy idea until it isn’t.?

Think bigger for yourself.

Create your CHAG.

THE COURAGEOUS PODCAST

When a high-flying tech sales career left him drained and unfulfilled, Tim Perreira realized it was time for a drastic change. Throughout his rise to President’s Club accolades, top-tier leadership roles, and hefty stock options, he buried stress and anxiety until it pushed him to an alarming low point. Now, Tim is certain that genuine toughness begins with raw vulnerability—and a willingness to admit when you need help. In his conversation with Ryan, he shares the bold plan fueling his next chapter: a 2,800-mile walk across America to raise $50K for men’s mental health and suicide prevention. He’s out to dismantle the “lone wolf” myth, convinced that real resilience comes from community, honesty, and human connection.

You can support Tim’s courageous journey by purchasing ‘The OG’ from Sock Problems! 25% of proceeds will directly fund Tim’s charity of choice.
