What's in your backpack?

John 3:20 For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed...
When I was in middle school, I had hid metal-tipped darts into my backpack to take to school. My friends and I were going to make small blowguns and 'Ninja' darts. In class we had a 'great plan' to see who could shoot furthest across the class room into the cork board when the teacher wasn't looking. I hid them because I knew it was wrong, and didn't want to get caught. For some unknown reason my dad asked to look in my backpack... BUSTED! Our world is FULL of things that people want to hide from public view because they know it is wrong. The more people let darkness in the more chaotic our world becomes. This all starts with our personal tolerance for darkness and lack of relationship with the Father. Do you have things you allow in your life that you know are wrong but justify it? We all need to identify the darkness in our lives, avoid it and fill our lives with The Light. Our Father in heaven doesn't need to look in our 'backpacks' to find our darkness, He already knows what it is before we open them. Seek The Light and have a blessed weekend!
