What’s your Authenticity Archetype & why does it matter?

OTHERS may disagree, but to me, self expression is the reason that we’re here on earth, doing our things.?
Whatever our professions, as we go through life, we have the chance to get to know ourselves better and better every month, every week, every day.?
We keep peeling back the layers of all that we are not, until we touch the things in life that make our souls sing, loud enough so we can hear, “yes, this is me.”
And then, if we are lucky, we are given the opportunity to blossom outwards again.
Creating your business is one of the highest forms of self expression; it is quite literally an idea birthed out of you, and then made manifest on the physical plane.?
Whatever your enterprise, on some level it is encoded with your values, expertise, opinions, and how you see the world.
It is the actualising of the good you want to create for your clients, and hopefully a lifestyle that you wish to embody, too.
This is why I’m such a firm believer in getting to know yourself, your story, and your communication style as deeply as possible - because this knowledge allows you to engage in self expression at a higher level, which your target clients will appreciate.
Nothing is more attractive than a business that says, “I know myself.”
Whether it’s your first year, or you’re a few years down the road, it’s important to keep checking in on your relationship with yourself - and observe how this may be presenting outwardly to your clients.?
Share Self, not Trends?
When it comes to communication, poor self-awareness could mean that you follow trends or content styles that don’t really feel like “you” - but perhaps you’re feeling you ought to produce a certain type of content, because you saw your competitors doing it.?
Or maybe you’re pressuring yourself to churn out lots of content for your brand every week, but you’re the kind of person whose energy levels are lower than others. That’s why creative exercises that bring you back to your Self are so vital.
Nothing is more attractive than a business that says, “I know myself.”
Your Authenticity Archetype
Learning your Authenticity Archetype is one method that can take you closer to knowing yourself a little better.?
It is a mini ‘anchor’ that can help you to stay grounded when it’s time to make content, and stop wondering what everyone else is doing. Instead, you’ll be focusing on what feels good for you and your skillset.
Whether you’re The Teacher, The Inspirer, The Writer, The Socialite, or The Confidant, this knowledge will get you thinking about the different social media platforms, formats and communication methods available to you.?
It will be easier to discern those methods aligned to your personality and your business, so that you can share your message to your target client with ease.

Journaling
I’m sure I will write an entire post on journaling at some point (because frankly, I’m obsessed), but it also deserves a mention here.?
Journaling truly is magic for helping you to tap into your self expression, and discover what your soul is calling out for right now.?
If you want to go that bit deeper, spend 10 minutes over the next day jotting down how you’re feeling about your content creation, and the direction that your business is going in.?
You never know, you may surprise yourself.
