What's Your No. 1 Problem?

What's Your No. 1 Problem?

Over the last few weeks, I took a step back from delivery to focus on research with my clients. I want to gain a deeper perspective on how my clients?feel?so that I can help solve their problems more effectively. Having more in-depth conversations with clients has been a valuable experience. It has given me a deeper understanding, while my clients have become unstuck just by talking with a coach.?

Here is a list of challenges for entrepreneurs and business leaders - all very human and understandable in a chaotic world.

Have a read of the 20 quotes and put the number that resonates with you most in the comments. I will reply to each one.

  1. Work does not allow me to express my unique talents fully. I need something else.
  2. I have lost the balance between purpose and pleasure. My world is consumed by my career. Things are out of kilter - my life goals have been lost. I feel dissatisfied.?
  3. I don’t know what I want and what a good life looks like.
  4. I am always on -24/7 - I cannot switch off.
  5. My team is not performing but I don’t know what to do about it.
  6. I'm so busy running my business that I cannot get time to work on strategic stuff.
  7. My business is successful, but it's messy. It has grown organically so I need a better process and system that makes results easier.
  8. I am a high performer, but I can’t sustain it. (P.S. That’s not high performance).
  9. I’m conscious of time with family. Did you know that 75% of the time you will spend with your children is done by the time they are 12?
  10. I want to be more present with my family when my workday ends.?
  11. I need to get to the gym more. I’m not as consistent as I could be.
  12. I feel tired by the end of the week and can’t wait till Friday.
  13. I cannot find the time to spend on the important things. I have had this massive research paper I want to read in my bag for the past month and still haven’t got to it.
  14. Motivation comes and goes so I can get things done sometimes but then I need a deadline or something to get me moving. I either have too much time or not enough!
  15. I’m stressed. I don’t even realise it but my family tells me,
  16. I don’t have enough time to get the stuff I need to do - the list is endless. I wish I had the time to do more.
  17. I feel overwhelmed by everything and sometimes don’t even know where to start. It’s relentless.
  18. I have so many emails and messages to reply to.
  19. I write things down in different places but still forget things I need to do.
  20. I occasionally wake up feeling anxious and worrying. This is affecting my sleep.

By the way, problems are a great place to start ideation. Ask people to come up with an idea? Silence. But ask them what annoys them? Deluge.

What annoys you when it comes to performance and productivity?

Which one resonates most with you - and why?

What would you add to this list?

Tell me in the comments and I will reply.
