Many people lie about entrepreneurship and being a business owner.
And that's exactly why I do not subscribe to most of the nonsense out there.
A lot of people are selling false dreams and hopes.
They sell you vacations, an easy life, trips, cruises, etc.
Those things never sat well with me...
...and anyone who falls for that is in for a rude awakening.
In fact, part of the reason people see me as "too serious" is because I am often their first dose of reality.
I don't learn from false and fluffy information, nor do I teach from false and fluffy information because it's actually a major disservice and many people are exhausted from it.
I often get...
Anyway, I wanted to share a quote from, Ron LeGrand, one of my favorite business coaches ever.
This is probably going to be a sore spot for some folks...and that is...
What's “wrong” with work? Why is work given a bad reputation?
Why do all your family and your friends think it's evil to work?
Well, here's some good news and some bad news.
The bad news is if you're going to be an entrepreneur, you're going to have to work. You don't have a choice.
Now, if you want to be a job slave, swapping your hours for dollars for the rest of your life, no problem.

Just punch in and out of work, and forget about it.
But I don't think that's what you want, because if it is, you wouldn't be here.
There's nothing wrong with work. Entrepreneurs are always working. I'm always working.
If I'm not working physically, I'm working mentally. You see, it's what drives me. It's what makes us entrepreneurs move.
It's not the end goal; it's the thrill of the chase. It's getting to the destination. It's not the destination.
Most people spend their entire lives trying to reach some point by which everything will be magical, the skies will turn blue, and there will be no more problems in the world.
There is no such place, and there is no destination. You may think retirement is your destination.
Retire and do what exactly?
How many balls can you hit into the ponds or into the woods?
How many fish can you catch?
How many cruises can you go on?
How many trips can you take?
How many churches can you visit before you finally come back to the conclusion that's not what you're after?
You're after the ability to create, to conquer, to overcome, and to make things happen." - Ron LeGrand
