What's worked for us?

Having recently featured in a number of podcasts and interviews discussing our journey and business it's given me clarity on what has and hasn't worked for us over the past 18 months.

I've decided to simply note some things that have worked well for our brand and launching Bae Juice. For anyone looking to start their own business I hope some of these tips help.

SAMPLING / FREEBIES

Not everyone is willing to purchase something thats new to them. We have given away around 20,000 juices over the past 18 months. This means thousands of people have tried our product, taken a photo of it, talked about it, loved it or even disliked it - The positives of this process heavily outweigh the negatives.

TAKING ON ROLES INTERNALLY

In the first 6 months of launching our business we outsourced our marketing/socials and it cost us over $20,000.... We wanted everything to be perfect that we justified this amount - We have since taken on this role and have saved crucial funds that now go towards advertising/leads and more stock.

YES OR NO?

We constantly have moments asking ourselves should we contact this person? What if they say no? Should we call this contact again? Should we post this on Instagram?

YES - Were a driving force of having nothing to loose and we are extremely confident in our product and business that we feel others are as privileged to work with us and our product.

For example - We hesitated to contact a large media channel, we contacted them three time and they replied. They loved our product and did a feature on us. This resulted in thousands of dollars in sales and massive website traffic that helped us go to the next level.

MARATHON NOT A SPRINT

The faster I learnt and accepted this the more composed and content I was with little wins, small steps and working hard on relationships and building our brand. This is a great message to all early business owners.

Hope some of these topics helped, keen to hear others!
