Pretty awesome, is what's that!

Actually, the Weekathon is a week-long hackathon organised by IATI, Israel Advanced Technology Industries.

(Try saying that after a pitcher of non-alcoholic sangria.)

Ten international firms sent their best and brightest to collaborate on new apps for a non-stop week. This year was the first all-female Weekathon. 

I was honoured to moderate the final showcase - Demo Day - at the offices of Marvell. The idea was to deploy my dry British sense of humour to smooth the potential chaos of a 250-person audience on a Thursday afternoon.

Truth is, I've never MC-d a nicer crowd. Perhaps that's because I got all my misogynist jokes out over lunch, before picking up the mic...
