What's on the Venu? #8 If you share this app, I will smile
As the title says, PLEASE keep sharing the Venu app. If we keep this up, we can become one of the fastest growing apps on the App Store. The most important metrics for us right now are our MAU's (Monthly Active Users) and our retention rate. Temperature Check:
We've had days in Austin that range from 35 degrees to 80 degrees and to be quite honest it makes zero sense to me. I'm all for the heat so I lean towards the warmer days, but the war stories I am hearing about the summer heat here is not something to look forward to.
But seeing it's been snowing and cold as can be in Boston, I don't feel too bad about being down here, but I am so excited to go home and see my family for a few days in a couple weeks.
How are vibes?
As any "startup founder" as tacky as that sounds, goes through; there are some crazy Ups and Downs in this game, you chase the highs and you have to earn them. The majority of my brain power is going towards how we can get 1000 more people on the Venu app within the week of South by Southwest. Vibes are HIGH right now, but it's going to be head down for the next few weeks while I figure out the most creative way for us to provide value to these people flying in from all over the world.
I miss my people
I definitely have been having some homesick moments over the last few weeks, but the brother Benjamin Pratt clutched up and popped in for a visit to ATX this weekend. I'm excited to see how the next few months go because I think we are on the cusp of something truly incredible here. No jealousy, no sadness, no booze, just dialed in trying to make this thing works. Can't let the past hurt the present and just want to prep us for the future.
