I’m not particularly motivated to brag or share what I’ve been up with Wayfinders, but the past 12 months have been pretty damn interesting, and the year coming up promises to be even more so, so I thought I'd open up a little window into the past year and what's in store for a very exciting 2024.

Last November, in Morocco, I wrapped up a string of 5 international adventures in 13 months, culminating in a particularly memorable and beautiful few days in the remarkable Sahara desert with some of my favourite humans.
(The photo is from a memorable moment on the way up to Mt. Toubkhal, North Africa's highest peak, when we stopped at a little stall on the side of the path. Soon after, a young guy we named 'Banjo Hamid' stopped in, sat down, picked up a banjo, proceeded to knock our socks off with his playing, cigarette dangling from his lips, and then vanished into the mountain air as the notes of the banjo still rang through the air. I picked up the banjo after to see if I could get some of Banjo Hamid's magic via osmosis).

Then, in March of this year, I launched the first-ever cohort of our new annual membership program for entrepreneurs, with loads of online events, in-person gatherings in Toronto, workshops, monthly challenges, and more.
Some of my highlights include:
?? Sauna and dinner Gathering in Rob Mackenzie’s beautiful backyard
?? Island Day: disc golf, lunch, volleyball and beach time on Toronto Islands
?? Bentway dinner and campfire: an outdoor indigenous-Canadian dinner under the Gardiner expressway hosted by the fantastic @Len Senater, followed by a campfire at Ontario Place

?? In late May, I took another group back to the jungles of Uganda for an incredible week of volcanoes, gorillas, deep connection, and lots of time with the wonderful people of this region.
The highlight was dancing with the Batwa people - a community of hunter-gatherers with whom I’ve forged an extraordinary relationship - on a spectacular hilltop as the sun set over Uganda, Rwanda and the Congo.

Last month, I headed to far western Mongolia with a group of 21 Wayfinders alumni and three newcomers, where we accompanied a Kazakh nomad family on their annual fall migration.
It was the riskiest and the most magical event I’ve ever done with Wayfinders, and I’m heading back in 2025.

?? I’m currently heads-down in creation mode, finishing off the content, tools, and frameworks for my new Entrepreneur’s Compass program, a 30-week biweekly program for entrepreneurs designed to help them run companies that are aligned, easy and profitable, sharing all of the tools and strategies I’ve learned about entrepreneurship over the last 27 years (including 12+ years of coaching).
It will be a transformational program, targeted toward entrepreneurs in the $250K to $2.5M revenue range. The Compass launches in January and includes 2024 Wayfinders membership and a full suite of new events.
If business feels stressful or unfulfilling, have a look and submit your application. Early-bird pricing ($1000 off) ends Dec. 01.

A new yearlong membership cohort launches in January, with many more Gatherings, Connection Calls, Wisdom Shares, Duo Dialogues and other unique opportunities to connect and learn.
Next year, we’ll have four quarterly ‘Summits’: half-day events with fantastic guest speakers on our four pillars:
If you’re an entrepreneur and want to connect with other big-hearted and open-minded entrepreneurs doing fantastic stuff, please submit your application.

?? Then, we’re off to Ecuador in February for another sold-out adventure. It’ll be the most physically demanding event I’ve ever run, with a summit of 19,347-ft Mt. Cotopaxi as our ultimate goal. Our reward for this gruelling mettle test will be our own private yacht in the Galapagos Islands.

Finally, in October of next year, I’m heading back to Laos (also sold out, sorry), with 25 badass entrepreneurs in tow, to revisit this beautiful and vibrant country.
Speaking of badasses, I’ll be taking the incredible Sherry Walling with me as my co-facilitator as we plumb and navigate the depths and tricky waters of relationships with our crew of explorers (Each Wayfinders Adventure has a theme: Ecuador’s is ‘work and calling’, Laos is ‘love and relationships’)

Between all of this, I’m planning and designing a truly unique Adventure for my alumni in spring 2025.
One of my favourite things to do with Wayfinders is to design new Adventures, and this one promises to be one of the most fun ever.
