Contra Costa Transportation Authority in San Francisco Bay Area is exploring a new mobility option involving small electric autonomous vehicles known as Glydcars - four-person vehicles traveling along dedicated paths fully separated from vehicular traffic on increasingly congested arterial roads.

Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. has founded the ENYRING GmbH, a company based in Berlin that will offer replaceable batteries for mainly electric bikes through subscription services. The company will start operating in the first half of 2025 first in Germany and the Netherlands.

Samsung Electronics teams up with Hyundai Motor Company to add SmartThings platform to connected car services, "home-to-car" and "car-to-home". The services will include control over car's air conditioning or windows from home, or to control TV or home's air conditioning from car.
Universal charger ??
Meredot - EV Wireless Charging introduces a universal wireless charger for Light Electric vehicles (LEVs). The Infinity Charger, a physical pad, is placed above or below ground and charges electric bikes, scooters, wheelchairs when they are parked over it.
