HR also ensures compliance with labor laws and regulations, administers compensation and benefits, and fosters a healthy and productive work environment.

Recruitment: HR is in charge of attracting and selecting the best talent for the organization. This involves creating job descriptions, posting ads, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions. HR also handles the onboarding process for new hires, which includes orientation, training, paperwork, and feedback.
Administration: HR is responsible for maintaining employee records and data, such as attendance, leave, performance, payroll, taxes, and benefits. HR also handles employee queries and requests regarding these matters. HR also creates and updates company policies and procedures, such as code of conduct, dress code, health and safety, etc.
