What's Sup? Introducing our new Social Discovery App.

Last week my fellow founders Rich Pleeth and Robin Gadsby posted pieces on our exciting new App Sup.  With just over a month now till we officially launch they got to talking about it's 5 key features. As a reminder Sup will help friends:

1. Reconnect: Sup helps friends to reconnect through opportunities they’d otherwise miss out on.
2. Make Plans: Quickly and hassle free with friends you know are nearby, right at the last minute.
3. Keep up to date: Use Sup to tell your friends where you are if you can’t find each other.
4. Really keep in touch: Forgotten and missed connections can be frustrating and Sup stops that by giving you notifications of who’s been Supping you and when they did it.
5. Keep in touch automatically: Sup will notify you when a friend is nearby, helping you to get in touch with a quick Sup and make some plans, or just say hello. 

I'd like to wrap these 5 key functions up and pop a cherry on top in the guise of serendipity. I can't think of many other Apps out there that provide users with a genuinely positive surprise - specifically a notification that a friend, loved one or ex-colleague you didn't know was around, is nearby, and is just a notification away.  That's the inspiration behind this App; helping serendipitous moments happen more often. Who knows, it could just be the cherry that makes this different from any other social discovery App out there.
