What's the story you're telling Yourself?

We tell ourselves what we believe. Any many times we limit ourselves by our beliefs.
There is a famous story about a donkey and a trader.
There was once a man who used to load his goods on a donkey. He traveled with him from one place to another. He usually stopped under the shade of a tree for some rest. He tied the donkey to the tree.
One day he forgot to carry his rope. While he was initially anxious, he just did his routine. He walked the donkey to the tree and tied him to the same tree with an imaginary rope. The donkey was knotted to his belief that he was tied.
When it was time to leave, the man tried to walk with his donkey- but the donkey didn't budge. It then struck him! He acted like he untied the donkey and voila! The donkey strutted along.
Is that what happens to us? Do we get tied down by the story we tell ourselves? Are we bound by our past or the story we tell ourselves? And are we waiting to get released?
Whenever you find yourself doing any negative self-talk, it's time to rewrite your story.
A hard life cannot limit your success unless you tell yourself it will. Stressful situations can force you to transcend your limits. Your beliefs get challenged. How you describe yourself in those moments defines how your life will evolve.
"This happened to me," or " I can't." When we use these statements, we feed our subconscious with negativity, and we allow the story to continue.
Make the shift from the victim mode to the empowerment zone. Look at the events as a gift. From here, we move on to the gratitude zone. The transition from the past to the future begins.
Start writing a new story, literally. What you're like your days to look like, how you'd be living and what you'd be building. And get support in moving forward.
Reflect on your life thoughtfully. See how your experiences shaped you—your gains and losses. The change won't come overnight. It can take months and be painful after all the struggle. But when we embrace our strife, it leads to new insights. It can lead to the good that sustains us.
