What's a Startup Studio?

When we first introduce ourselves as being a startup studio, we get some blank stares. "You mean, like an incubator? Or an accelerator?" Well... not exactly. While both of those models certainly offer benefits to brand new companies, a startup studio is distinctly different.

Startup studios increase chances of success by working with entrepreneurs to help them vet ideas, meet with prospective clients to discuss their challenges, engineer novel solutions, test and obtain feedback on their products using our trusted partner network(s), kick-off marketing campaigns, establish sales channels, and collaborate with established legal partners to reduce potential legal pitfalls.

While accelerators and incubators may provide mentorship and business services (sometimes for a fee), startup studios serve as co-founders. In the true spirit of partnership, startup studios bring not only critical financial investment to the table, but also a skilled team to build out the product with an established business network to successfully launch it. The startup studio model enables founders and the studio to work side-by-side toward the common goal of creating a flourishing business and achieving a future exit.
