What's the Spookiest Thing to Leaders???
Dear Readers,
They are many things that leaders list as their greatest fear. The fear of not being good enough, or imposter syndrome. The?fear of criticism.?The fear of not being able to keep up with the demands of the role.?But one thing that most point?to is the fear of failure.
Well here is some scary news, you will fail. And if you aren't failing, you are probably playing it safe and staying in your?comfort zone. But here is a comforting fact,?the most successful professionals all experienced failures. From Michael Jordan to Steve Jobs, to Barbara Corcoran, to Tom Landry. They?all experienced failure and have a story behind their success.?
“Success is going from failure to failure without losing enthusiasm.” – Winston Churchill.
The important thing to remember is it's not if you will fail, but when. And great leaders recover quickly and learn to?leverage a setback?toward future success.?
Yours in courage,
Bill
