How to Set Up Advanced Matching
You can implement Advanced Matching in two ways:
Automatic Advanced Matching
This requires no coding. Simply enable it through Meta Events Manager, and the Pixel will automatically hash common data (like emails or names) when submitted on your site.
Manual Advanced Matching
For more control, you can customize the setup by passing additional customer data (e.g., email addresses) to Meta. This is ideal for restricted verticals or advanced setups.
Example in Action
If a visitor subscribes to your newsletter but doesn’t purchase, Advanced Matching lets you pass hashed data (e.g., email) to Meta. This enables retargeting with ads tailored to their interests, increasing the chance of conversion.
