  • ?IDEATE Ireland is a platform for emerging entrepreneurs to showcase their innovative ideas, receive feedback from industry experts and raise funds for investment.? To submit an application or learn more about the application guidelines, visit www.ideateireland.ie Note:? Closing date for applications is 19/03/24. The competition welcomes undergraduates, postgraduates, recent graduates (within the past two years), and researchers residing on the island of Ireland, and it encourages both individuals and teams to participate.

Does your business?employ more than 10 and less than 50 full time employees?? Is you business involved in manufacturing and internationally traded services? Does your business have international ambition?

?If you answer 'YES' to these questions, then your business may qualify for LEO Cork City funding of €50,000.?

  • The maximum Business Expansion Grant payable must not exceed 50% of the investment up to a maximum amount of €50,000 (excluding VAT).
  • Grants over € 50,000 may be awarded in exceptional cases, where projects clearly demonstrate the potential to graduate to the Enterprise Ireland portfolio / export internationally.
  • Eligible costs include: Capital items, Salary Costs, Utility Costs, Consultancy Costs, and Business Specific Training. ?
  • Funding can only be awarded to manufacturing and internationally traded services businesses employing more than 10 and less than 50 against an Internationalisation Plan. We will assist you create the Internationalisation Plan. ? Food Academy Programme ?

  • To help develop Ireland’s artisan food industry, the Local Enterprise Offices, SuperValu and Bord Bia joined forces in 2013 to create?‘Food Academy’?– a tailored Food Business Development programme for early to mid-stage food business owners.
  • There are now over 300 Food Academy small producers in SuperValu stores and half of all Food Academy participants expect sales to increase by 50% or more over the next 12 months. Food Academy collaborates with small businesses on their journey from beyond the start-up phase right through to getting their product on SuperValu shelves. Through workshops, mentoring and the opportunity to pitch to SuperValu team, this is a unique opportunity to see your product on the shelf of one of Ireland’s leading retailers. It's all about encouraging entrepreneurship in Ireland and giving small producers a big chance.
