What's the relationship of quality, price, and delivery time?

In translation field, have you ever thought about what is the relationship of quality, price and delivery time?

Clients always want you deliver translation files with high quality in low price and urgent delivery time.But do you think it is an achievable requirement? I don't think so.

The relationship of them are antagonistic.If you need high quality, the price shall be higher or the delivery time shall be longer.For high quality, the translation process shall be at least Translation + Edit process which means that one translator is for transaltion and there will be another translator to proofread the whole translation again. The cost is higher and the delivery time will be longer. Are you agreed with it?

If you need lower price, you may only accept the Translation Only process which the whole translation work is finished by one translator with no proofreading translator. And the translation quality may be not so excellent. This depands on clients'requirment. Some clients actually accept this quality.

If you need urgent delivery time, it may influence the quality.Because there is a possibility that transaltors have no time to check his work in order to meet the urgent delivery time.
