The comparison between U.S./Western activities driven by plutocratic interests and internationally-led efforts to create peace encompasses several dimensions:
Motivation and Goals:
U.S./Western Plutocratic Activity: These actions are often driven by the interests of wealthy elites and corporations. The primary goal can be to secure economic benefits, access to resources, or maintain political influence, rather than prioritizing the well-being of the global community.
Internationally-led Peace Efforts: These are typically motivated by a desire to promote global stability, humanitarian values, and respect for international laws. The United Nations, for example, aims to prevent conflict, help parties in conflict make peace, and create the conditions to allow peace to hold and flourish.
Approach and Methods:
U.S./Western Plutocratic Activity: The approach can be unilateral or involve alliances with other Western countries. It might involve military intervention, economic sanctions, or political pressure to protect or advance specific economic interests.
Internationally-led Peace Efforts: These usually involve multilateral diplomacy, peacekeeping missions, and humanitarian aid. They focus on dialogue, negotiation, and respect for sovereignty, with an emphasis on long-term solutions that benefit all parties involved.
Outcomes and Impact:
U.S./Western Plutocratic Activity: These actions can sometimes lead to destabilization, resentment, and conflict, particularly if they are perceived as serving narrow interests at the expense of broader, inclusive goals. They may also lead to short-term gains for certain groups while exacerbating long-term problems.
Internationally-led Peace Efforts: Ideally, these efforts lead to sustainable peace, improved international relations, and respect for human rights. However, they can be hampered by geopolitical rivalries, lack of resources, or insufficient commitment from member states.
Perception and Legitimacy:

U.S./Western Plutocratic Activity: Such activities can be viewed skeptically by the international community, especially when they appear to prioritize the interests of a few over the needs of many. This can lead to accusations of imperialism or neo-colonialism.
Internationally-led Peace Efforts: These are generally seen as more legitimate and neutral, especially when they involve broad-based international consensus. However, they can also be viewed as ineffective or biased, depending on the context and the actors involved.
Long-term Consequences:
U.S./Western Plutocratic Activity: The long-term impact can be mixed, potentially leading to dependency, economic disparities, and political instability in certain regions.
Internationally-led Peace Efforts: When successful, these efforts can contribute to lasting peace, development, and stronger international institutions, although success is not guaranteed and depends on the commitment and cooperation of the involved parties.
In summary, while U.S./Western activities driven by plutocratic interests are often oriented towards economic and political gains for a select few, internationally-led peace efforts generally aim for broader, inclusive goals like global stability and humanitarian values.
The effectiveness and perception of both approaches vary greatly depending on their implementation and the specific contexts in which they operate. How can we evolve into a planetary society that embraces harmony among people and planet? It would seem the many need to inspire and transform the few rather than the few marauding the many.

Creator/Healer/Teacher/We all create our own reality. The solution is to move the needle towards conscious creation instead of unconscious creation.
1 年I believe their are good hearted people that find themselves in positions of power, but that phrase becomes an oxy-moron. If you are in a position of power over someone or a group of people, it destroys your ability to make good decisions. Control should only be applied to the self and how we serve each other. I don't think we are going to find any good solutions coming from governmental entities which are all controlled by corporate interest in our society. Thanks for your insights Zen!
