What's the power of Appreciation?

Ok, I'm gonna give you a perspective vision of appreciation. Ok?.

Remember Newton's 3nd Law,

"For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction"

and have you heard about payback or karma?. Yeah, you might be wondering where the hell I'm taking this to. I'll come to the point. Appreciation comes from Late Latin appretiatus, past participle of appretiare "to set a price to,".Giving value to or setting up a price or to give credit, these are the meanings to the word appreciation.

What's the need to appreciate?. Sorry I've got other business to do. I'm stuck with my own struggles. My life, my rules.I dont't care.

Yeah, these are some of the thoughts that come to mind. Making others feel valued, a gesture of giving them support for their works has a great impact on their lives. What goes around comes around. So you will also be appreciated for your success and hard work.

Don't expect anything in return. That's the problem. We expect too much in return. When we appreciate others, there are words exchanged, emotions felt, personalities recognized and a strong relationship established.

So where does appreciation comes in play?

The answer is, pretty much everywhere. Be it at the office, school, college, meetings, conferences, casual talks, counselling and so on. When we appreciate, the receiver is happy, motivated and is encouraged to perform more (especially when in a team).

Does one lose anything when appreciating others?

Absolutely no. There is nothing to lose but only to gain. Why waste energy on a cuss word?.

A simple congrats, thanks, welcome, very good, so nice, awesome- these phrases are enough to initiate an appreciation.

So what's appreciation done on higher levels?

It has established peace treaties between various countries, which has made them unite for the betterment of humanity. So imagine the outcome when we do it.
