By addressing threats proactively, VFD helps organizations maintain safer environments for their stakeholders.
Supported Cameras:VFD is available on select Pelco camera models with the appropriate firmware versions. For instance, the Sarix Enhanced 4 series supports VFD with firmware version 4.86.0.20 or higher. Other models may not support VFD as of yet; it’s essential to verify compatibility before enabling the feature.
Enabling Visible Firearm Detection:To activate VFD, users must have the necessary VFD licenses. The feature can be enabled or disabled per camera through the Pelco Elevate interface. For multi-headed devices, all cameras are covered by a single license but can be managed independently.
