What's the outcome?

What's the outcome?

Last week, I had the privilege of co-hosting our inaugural Clients On Demand workshop with the incredible Global Coach of the Year, Shani Taylor, and I’m still riding the high from the experience! We had 60 amazing people in the room, all learning how to grow their businesses, build their audiences, and attract clients with ease??

I wanted to share one of the major “a-ha” moments from the day, as it’s been a game-changer for me too. It’s all about how you demonstrate the “dream outcome” to your audience—and whether that should be done through you or through your clients. Let me explain??

People want to work with someone who has achieved what they want. Whatever you’re embodying and demonstrating is what people will gravitate toward. It’s crucial to be aware of this and to find ways to show that you not only have what they want, but that you also know how to get them there too.

There are two main ways to do this:

  1. Demonstrate the results through the life you’re living (e.g., showing you have what they want: abundance, health, a great physique if you're in fitness), OR
  2. Demonstrate the dream outcome through the results you’ve achieved for your clients.

You can even do a mix of both.

In my experience, when you run a “done-for-you” business, it’s better to showcase the results through your clients. Why? Because when people are paying for a service, they might not want to see you lounging on a beach—they want to know you’re working hard for them!

On the flip side, if you run a “done-with-you” or educational business (like coaching), then showcasing your lifestyle—traveling, enjoying free time—can be highly attractive to your students.

There’s no one-size-fits-all rule, so take a moment to reflect on the outcome you’re currently demonstrating, and think about how you can enhance that to attract the right clients.

Sabrina Carpenter's "Overnight" Success

If you haven’t heard of Sabrina Carpenter and her recent success following Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour, you might be living under a rock! But here’s the funny thing: Sabrina has been performing for over 10 years. It took her a decade to refine her craft, define her brand image, and build the confidence to perform at the level she does today.

So often, we get frustrated when things don’t move fast enough. But remember, growth takes time. As long as you’re making 1% improvements each day, it WILL compound.
