What's One Jaw-Dropping Question That Will Ease You Into 2022?

We all ask ourselves questions, right?
Constantly! All Day and Every Day!
And those questions will either serve us or won't serve us - depending on the question we ask ourselves AND the answers we give ourselves.
So let's have a conversation about those questions and how you can kickstart your year of success or empowerment or clarity or whatever ‘word of the year’ you chose with ease.
Because hidden within our self-questions are truths that will either move us forward or hold us back.
And to move forward we need to be congruently READY to move forward or it’s just an empty promise – to ourselves!
Now, I don't know about you, but I talk to myself a fair bit and over the past couple of years a percentage of those conversations weren't as empowering as they could have been. ?
I, like millions of others caught up in the ‘Great Quit’ or the ‘Great Resignation’, could have walked away from a business that had been ravaged by 2020/2021.
So I sat down and asked myself a question...
'Are you ready to rebuild your business and for it to look different moving forward?'
The answer was 'YES!" so I invested.
Working with a guy out of the UK I redesigned my programs - moving from face-to-face trainings to online self study and group coaching programs and whilst that demanded a few months of hard yakka from me, I successfully launched my Mastering Influence Program - multiple times!
I was on a roll, so I invested again - this time with a mentor in the USA and launched to a new market with an amazing new product, the Commercial Conversations Academy and whilst that went OK, it wasn't as successful as I planned but did help me clarify where my target market and expertise truly lies. And whilst I was figuring all that out, I became a grandmother for the first time ever so you guessed it... time to ask myself a question.
‘Are you ready to rebuild your business or would you prefer to down tools for a bit?’
And the answer was down tools, so I did!
Whilst our amazing daughter, Danni, had given us this wonderful gift and bundle of perfection, it also gave me time to step into a new identity and lean into being Nanna B to my Grace Maree.?
And for the first time in a long time, I took time out. I began to paint! I donned my green gingham apron and painted old furniture - for the love of it - and then sold it. I sang as I painted. I gave myself permission to not think of work because life is too short to not be doing what you love and with who you love.
That thought triggered another question, 'Are you ready to rebuild your business and focus on what you really love?'
The answer was YES, and it was off to school again!

And the answer - a resounding YES!

2 年Good point Bernadette. I hadn't thought of just one question, but rather questions. I'm always asking questions. And talking to myself, I can relate to that (is that an age thing?). And so for me, the big question is how do I narrow down to the questions that really matter. In fact, I'm reading a just-released book ATM 'Hero on a Mission' for guidance on that very thing.
