What's next for Twitter?
There is too much noise about Twitter since Elon Musk bought it for $44 billion and made it his private entity this year. From declining the board member seat to firing the top officials. He has made it quite clear that he is super pumped up at the idea of how the platform could be bettered and become more inclusive in terms of Free speech and less chaotic.
Musk has been revealing bits and pieces of what he planned to do before he took the control of Twitter — mostly in posts on Twitter itself.
We all know Elon Musk is a visionary. Almost singlehandedly, he’s changed the way the world think about automobiles.?He never created Tesla. He just made it a success, against long odds.?
On the other side, There is no set answer to this question as it is unclear what Musk plans to do with Twitter after acquiring it. It is possible that he will attempt to use it to further his business interests, or he may keep it as a social media platform. It is also possible that he will sell it off to another company or individual. It is highly unlikely but NEVER SAY NEVER. He is a clever businessman and could do whatever it takes to be on the safer side. These are all speculations and He has started taking extreme steps to make Twitter a better place after firing almost 50% of the staff globally.
What he has initially thought about revamping the platform?
These things are not hard for him. He knows what he is talking about but he is far from implementing these actions hence the confusion is there.
This isn't easy to say, as Twitter is constantly evolving and changing. It is possible that Twitter will continue to grow in popularity and become an even more important part of our lives. Twitter engagement is already up.

Additionally, Twitter may continue to add new features and functionality that make it even more useful and user-friendly.
But that doesn't mean people haven't started looking at some alternatives.
As long as the similarity of the platforms is concerned, Mastodon and Koo come very close to Twitter in terms of the content shared and how they both operate.
Mastodon is a social media platform that allows users to connect with each other and share content. It is similar to other social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook but has a few key differences. For one, Mastodon is decentralized, meaning it is not owned or controlled by any company or organization. Instead, it is run by a network of independent servers that are all connected to each other. This makes it more resistant to censorship and manipulation. Additionally, Mastodon is open source, meaning that anyone can contribute to its development.
Whereas, Koo is an Indian microblogging and social networking service founded in March 2020. It is available in 11 Indian languages. As of March 2021, Koo has over three million users.
To be optimistic, Elon Musk coming on board for Twitter revamp is surely a good sign as long as he does not become a dictatorial owner in terms of providing the services for users and making them pay for those services.
