What’s next: techs that will shape our future

In just a few months, I'll be celebrating 25 years with Dell Technologies and I couldn't be more excited and confident about what's to come.

My experience at #DellTechWorld, the annual event where we bring together the best industry experts and the latest technology trends to discuss the future with partners and customers worldwide, can only be summed up as "unprecedented innovation".

The truth is that #ArtificialIntelligence represents a generational opportunity for productivity, meaningful change and growth, and as @Michael Dell himself pointed out in his opening keynote: "We are unleashing technology that will accelerate scientific discovery and development with the power to transform our organizations, our lives, and our world".

In this article, I'll share with you what I found to be the most exciting and relevant of what we brought to the event.

Powering AI-driven innovation

Throughout history, we've seen a few industrial revolutions. Now, AI is reinventing business at an unprecedented rate. Keeping up with these advances requires new IT infrastructure and devices designed specifically to meet the needs of this technology.

Rewriting the rules of creativity and productivity with AI PCs

Our AI PCs are, as @Sam Burd commented during the event, "a true digital partner that enables software developers, content creators, salespeople, knowledge workers, and everyone in between to solve problems faster and focus on more meaningful, strategic work”

We've expanded our portfolio of PCs and workstations as part of the growing Dell AI Factory offering of AI devices and infrastructure.

This new class of devices transforms the AI PC experience with exceptional performance and battery life, enhanced productivity, and strong security.

Storage performance, resiliency and efficiency advancements

The rapid advances we are seeing in artificial intelligence will not only accelerate the value that the world's data brings to organizations of all sizes, it will also change the architecture of data centers and data flows forever.

It's all about data, and we're very proud to be the company that delivers the most storage capacity. No wonder PowerStore has become the largest and fastest growing storage product in the industry, with tens of thousands of customers worldwide.

During the event, we announced updates to the portfolio. They provide support for the most demanding workloads with up to a 30% increase in software-based performance and up to a 66% increase in hardware performance.

These enhancements to the PowerStore line are part of PowerStore Prime, a new integrated offering that combines updated systems from this storage portfolio with programs designed to help customers better protect their storage investments and increase profitability for Dell partners.
