Path to Production

Since debuting the Greenlander Sherpa Prototype (#001) at the CARAVAN SALON Düsseldorf - the world's No.1 trade fair for mobile travel this summer, we've been hosting weekly test drives as well as weekend expeditions. These sessions have been invaluable, offering insights from early adopters and industry experts who understand the 4x4 market inside out. Together, we've refined our Prototype, identifying key improvements that will shape the final serial production model.

The overwhelmingly positive feedback from the show helped us secure a capital investment into our company that empowers us to focus on essential steps in product development, allowing us to grow thoughtfully and sustainably. This approach ensures that every detail of the Greenlander Sherpa experience aligns with our high standards, creating lasting value for our clients and reinforcing our commitment to quality.

Pre-Production Model

Currently, we’re building the Pre-Production model — a second iteration that closely mirrors the final production version. This unit (#002) will showcase additional features requested by customers, which we aim to perfect before widespread implementation. Together, #001 and #002 demonstrate a wide spectrum of available options, allowing you to select the features that make the Sherpa the ideal companion for your journey.

New features:

• Additional Seats with 3-Point Safety Belts: Making the Sherpa also suitable for 2+2 travelers.
• Upgraded Fridge: Capacity increased from 90L to 140L, featuring a quieter model for a more comfortable experience.
• Cabin Connection: 1200 X 540 mm door between cab and car.
• Extended Cabin: A larger bed and extra seating space that also converts into a 1,70m bed.
• Double-Floor Construction: We’ve redesigned the substructure with a modular “adapter” and double floor to house tanks and other systems beneath the cabin, streamlinin production and maintenance and providing more space.

As a result the Sherpa now offers:

Greater Autonomy: The updated construction allows us to increase tank capacity:

• Fresh Water: Increased from 250L to 280L, plus an additional 70L for drinking water
• Grey Water: Expanded from 70L to 120L
• Energy: The Sherpa can now accommodate up to 690W of solar on the roof and 600Ah of cabin batteries.

Additional Storage: With the repositioning of technical components, we now offer:

• Larger external storage compartments
• Additional large drawer in the seating area (previously hosted heating)
• Ample cabinet space for kitchen appliances and shoes (previously hosted electrics)

The Sherpa “Launch Edition”

We have started the sales process of the Sherpa by offering a "Launch Edition" for delivers in 2025/ 2026. The Launch Edition includes a selection of recommended extras, specifically chosen for their ability to enhance the car’s long-term value and usability, with options for further customization. Here’s the thinking behind this approach:

1. Streamline Production: Minimising variation in the initial builds simplifies our supply chain and reduces complexity to ensure highest quality.
2. Showcase Quality: The Launch Edition units serve as our first impression, demonstrating the added value and standout features that make the Sherpa truly exceptional.

The slots for the Launch Edition are limited, but a few are still available. We know that our first clients will become an essential part of our company’s history, so we are as selective with them as they are with us. If you prefer a more customised approach, you can reserve a production slot and start with the standard specification. Custom "à la carte" units will be available starting from Summer 2026. ? Please note that the Launch Edition production slots cannot be reserved online but only by contacting our sales support team.
