What's Next For Mission-Driven Creative: Announcing Two Key Leadership Roles at Wide Eye
Wide Eye is hiring several new roles, including a new Director of Client Services and Director of Project Management.
We're entering a treacherous time for America; I don't think I need to elaborate too much on why... I'm operating on the assumption that anyone reading this probably would nod their head in agreement. We face serious challenges – social, political, environmental – and, behind it all, a complex and often confusing internet landscape, rapidly evolving technology, and the increasingly blurred lines between truth and misinformation. But a time of upheaval is also a profound opportunity. As old rules and systems die away, the future will favor visionaries, big thinkers, and world builders – those who can speak plainly, break beyond the noise, and show the way to a brighter and more human future. And it is the responsibility of creatives to not just help build that future, but to help the world imagine it.? This is a time that calls for strong, creative leaders who can help organizations harness innovation while keeping humanity at the center of their work.
Our team at Wide Eye, a digital creative agency, has had a privileged view of this evolving landscape over the last decade-plus – working at the intersection of branding, digital design, and technology on the front lines of the most important issues of our day: climate change, higher education, reproductive rights, criminal justice reform, human rights, and protecting democracy – and with leaders ranging from transformative organizations to Presidents to outspoken visionaries. We've deliberately positioned ourselves as champions of what design and technology can be at its best: a force for connection, understanding, and positive change. Our work as a creative agency continues – demonstrating every day that a better world and a better internet aren't just possible, they're being built right now.?
We are also a business that is fortunate enough to be in a period of growth. And if we've learned anything, it's that you can't create human-centric work for great clients without being invested in each other as human beings. In other words, the best creative work only happens when we're invested in partnerships built on trust, respect, and shared vision. That is why we're opening a pairing of new senior-level roles at Wide Eye:

A strategic leader who will shape how we build and nurture meaningful partnerships with our clients, helping mission-driven organizations navigate complex challenges and turn them into opportunities for impact. This role is about more than managing accounts – it's about being a true partner in creating change alongside our clients. Day-to-day, this leader will build relationships with our clients and partners, strategically work on solving the (unavoidable) sticky project challenges, mentor our growing account team, drive business development initiatives, and work closely with agency leadership to evolve our service offerings and approach to client partnerships.
A seasoned agency leader and master organizer who will bolster how we deliver client work, strengthening the systems, processes, and team culture that turn ambitious ideas into reality. This role combines management excellence with emotional intelligence to orchestrate complex projects that make a difference. In practice, this means leading our talented PM team, overseeing our most challenging projects, co-managing resource allocation across the agency, and ensuring our project process consistently achieves exceptional results.
These roles are designed to work in partnership, as two sides of the same coin, creating a powerful foundation for our next chapter of growth. While the Director of Client Services ensures we're solving the right problems and building lasting relationships, the Director of Project Management ensures we're solving them in the right way. Together, they'll help us take on more ambitious challenges while delivering consistently exceptional work.
These roles represent more than just expanding our leadership team – they embody our belief that the antidote to an increasingly inhuman digital world is to double down on human connection, expertise, and craft. While others might see the agency model as a bit outdated, we see it as essential for the future we’re confronting: bringing together teams of passionate experts who make each other stronger and help mission-driven organizations plan, inspire, design, and create to achieve real and sustained impact.
The challenges ahead demand long-term vision, deep partnership, and flawless execution. They require leaders who can navigate complexity while never losing sight of the humans at the heart of our work. If you're excited about building that future with us, we'd love to hear from you.
