If you have flown with us recently and have experienced disruptions to your travel plans, I want to thank you for your trust, patience and loyalty. Our operation continues to stabilize following a number of unprecedented challenges, including one of the most difficult holiday environments we’ve ever faced as a result of the omicron variant and a series of winter weather events.

Despite these disruptions, we remain optimistic about what’s ahead. We’re working to transform travel with more personalized, effortless and enjoyable experiences so you can look forward to your flight just as much as your destination.

Prioritizing a Better, Healthier You

We know the past two years have been stressful for you. That’s why we’re focused on giving you more options to create a personalized experience with thoughtful and mindful moments each step of the way. That includes specially curated seatback entertainment, like restful sleep content from our partners at Spotify and Peloton, more premium meal options on board and in Delta Sky Clubs and new wellness-focused elements for customers seated in Delta One and Delta Premium Select.

Delivering a Better Journey from Curb to Gate

As you fly with us in 2022, you’ll begin to see brand-new airport terminals in New York, Los Angeles and Seattle along with next-generation aircraft and a tailored, touchless experience that gives you convenience and control, from hands-free checkpoints in Detroit and Atlanta to digital menus. You’ll find new premium products on board, new and expanded Delta Sky Clubs, and fast-streaming onboard Wi-Fi that will make in-flight entertainment and connectivity feel more like what you enjoy at home. This connectivity will be available for purchase on nearly all Delta mainline aircraft by the end of this year.

Making a Better World

As we battled a global pandemic over the past two years, Delta’s values remained unwavering. Addressing inequity and climate change and supporting communities is core to who we are and will continue to be a primary focus this year. As part of our ongoing commitment to transparency, we’re making progress reports available so you may better understand the actions we’re taking across Delta to advance racial equity and diversity within our business.

This year will be instrumental in our fight against climate change. We’re thrilled to have Pam Fletcher join our leadership team this month as Chief Sustainability Officer to expand our leading position on the path to net zero aviation. You’ll see sustainable commitments come to life in new ways later this year, whether you’re relaxing on board or spending time in our airports. New Delta One amenity kits will launch on board this month made by Someone Somewhere artisans, created especially for Delta, with you in mind. The kits are one of several new onboard products that will reduce waste by approximately 4.9 million pounds per year while also supporting minority- and women-run business and building communities. Our goal is to design a journey that protects our planet for future generations to come.?
