This video is intended to help you support the person you love, and to find out more about what will happen next. It's important to know that you will not be alone. There is help out there not just to support and care for your loved one, but for you as well.”
Often when someone is diagnosed with a terminal illness, the impact on those around them does not get as much attention as it should.
Hospice UK recognise that this is a difficult time for everyone and commissioned this film to help anyone who has had a partner or a close friend diagnosed with a terminal illness, it outlines the next steps to take, in terms of self care, because we cannot effectively care for others, if we do not also care for ourselves.
We would love to see this film shared more widely in care homes, and hospice settings, and used to help anyone who might be struggling to know what to do next at this most difficult time.
