Are You IN?

March is one of our favorite months around here. The hints of spring, St. Patrick's Day, International Women's Day, Daylight Saving Time and Easter are all things we're looking forward to - - but it's during March that our love of games and competition unite. It's time for our annual men's college basketball bracket challenge!

We would love to have you join our pool (or participate again if you've joined us in the past). Who knows - this year you may walk away with the grand prize!

To participate in our annual college basketball bracket challenge, you'll need to join the pool. Click here to join and get ready for a fun competition! We have seen it all over the years and can speak from experience that sometimes those with the least sports knowledge do the best. We've also seen some frequent winners with beginner's luck - so don't be bashful. What do you have to lose?

Come have some fun, enjoy some entertaining banter and get those brackets ready starting March 17 (must have them completed prior to the first game on March 19).

Client-Centric Thinking | The Key to Trusted Advisor Status

If you aren't one, you know one: the professionals whose clients call them with every need, constantly reaching out for advice, have been around for years, and who are constantly referring others who need assistance. How does that happen?

We cannot over-state the benefits of client-centric thinking. Consider everything - even the most minute details, interactions and experiences - through the lens of the client. How are they feeling about something? What are they thinking? What would make things easier on them? What are in their best long-term interests? How can you and your firm partner in a way that is both enjoyable and invaluable?

No detail is too small to consider. From their preferred beverages being ready in a conference room to doing stellar legal work, everything comes together to create the whole client experience.

What we were up to over the last month:

• Jill, Heather and Sarah travelled to Denver to visit one of our amazing clients. They had a great time connecting in person, and even got to meet up with Allie and Jessica while there!
• Emily traveled to NYC to help a client execute a large, annual client event. It was a great success (she's also headed to LA next week to help the same client with the event there!).
• Meg shared a blog post, Crafting Winning Pitches and Proposals: A Guide for Law Firm Marketing Teams to offer MBD teams practical advice on helping their firms win work.
