What’s New in the World of Evacuation Equipment?

The latest news in the Evacuation Equipment industry is the appointment of Paul Mitchell as Non-Executive Director, joining the board of Directors for Evacuation Equipment and training supplier, Evaccess.

If you’re wondering what all the fuss is about; Paul Mitchell founded the Evacusafe brand back in 2005 and lead that company into global success before the sale of the company in 2016 and, as a specialist in his field, he comes with an array of worldwide contacts and specialist knowledge in the Evacuation Equipment market.

Mr Mitchell said, “I’m delighted to have been invited aboard the Evaccess train, and I’m looking forward to helping steer the Company to new, broader destinations and opening as many doors as I possibly can with the view of making Evaccess a huge success.

I am now in the fortunate position of having 12 years worth of experience and connections in the industry, with many colleagues and contacts spread across the globe, in both distribution and sales colleagues, as well as customers who are keen to do business with me.

My drive and passion for this industry is second to none and I can already see some very big achievable goals in sight. There’s no doubt in my mind that I will be taking Evaccess to the next level as I did with my previous Company.”

Before a recent rebranding exercise ‘Evaccess’ was formerly known as ‘Swallow EMP’, run by Directors Greg Pons and Julia Pons. The Company produces Evacuation Chairs, Electric Stair Climbers and Powered Goods Lifters, an array of products design to assist people with mobility issues and the movement and lifting of goods, all of which already have successful sales figures.

With Mr Mitchell on board they will be offering a full range of servicing and training packages, which come with many years of experience and high demand.

The Company also has the facilities to manufacture bespoke equipment when required. For further information please visit www.evaccess.uk.

When I was in Logistics we always trained with an Evac Chair, the one time it was used the person who was it was happy to out without his chair, if he'd stayed in it he'd be dead from smoke. he was out, and he was alive. you can always replace the equipment. never the person.

Sorry to rain on your parade but as a wheelchair user, this might get me downstairs but without my electric wheelchair I would be lost!
